BAO started from a very personal place.

After living abroad for most of my life, I always wanted to build something in Lebanon that would bring me closer to home — and closer to my fiancé. We both share the same small habit: we love shopping, we love discovering interesting items, and we get genuinely excited when unboxing our packages.

That feeling is what inspired BAO.

The name BAO actually means “treasure” in Chinese. And to us, treasures are not things that lose value over time. They are items that bring joy, usefulness, and a little charm into everyday life.

So we asked ourselves:
Why not create a store where we carefully select products we would personally be excited to receive?
